Why are some reccuring events not resulting in a regression for my resolved issues?

Issue

If a Sentry issue was resolved by release and new events associated with the same issue do not have a release value, the issue status does not change to Regressed.

Applies To

  • All Sentry Users

  • Issues marked Resolved In a release

Resolution

Make sure you have properly configured releases for your SDK setup to ensure all events have a release value. New events with a release value, will result in a regression.
