Why am I receiving emails at the wrong email address?

Issue

Sentry notifications are sent to the wrong email address.

Applies To

Symptoms

  • An alert rule is configured to send to a team, or individuals in a Sentry Organisation, but is received at an email other than the other associated with the member(s)

Resolution

Notifications and Alerts are sent to the primary email address by default.

Use our notification settings to route emails to secondary addresses for affected projects. You can find these settings in User settings > Notificaitons > Email Routing
