The Organization Owner removed me from the organization, why do I still have 2FA?

Issue

I cannot get past the 2FA step, so I asked the Owner to remove me from the organization, but the 2FA is still in place and I cannot rejoin it.

Resolution

In Sentry, when the 2FA is set, it is bound to the account and not the organization - that's why it did not reset or didn't get deleted when you were removed from the organization. This is because, with one account, you can access more organizations.
