Issue
I uploaded new debug information files (DIFs), but existing events are still not symbolicated. I need to reprocess those events.
Applies To
All SaaS Customers and Self-Hosted Users
Debug Information Files
Error issues that use DIFs
Resolution
Sentry does not apply newly uploaded DIFs to events that were already ingested. Reprocess the issue after the files are available.
Wait at least one hour after uploading DIFs so internal caches can expire.
Open the issue you want to update.
Open the
...menu in the top right.Select Reprocess events.
Choose how many events to reprocess. Leave the field empty to reprocess all events, or enter a number to reprocess only the most recent events.
If you reprocess only some events, choose whether to keep or delete the remaining events.
Confirm with Reprocess Events.

While reprocessing runs, the issue is locked and hidden from the issue stream. Find it with is:reprocessing. You cannot stop reprocessing after it starts. See I started a reprocessing that I don't want anymore….
Every reprocessed event counts against your error quota a second time. Rate limits and spike protection do not apply. Details are in the Reprocessing documentation.
What reprocessing does not cover
Reprocessing does not apply to:
JavaScript source maps
ProGuard mappings
Performance issues
Replay issues
If new events after upload are still not symbolicated, see Why are my events still not symbolicated after I uploaded my debug information files?.
