I have an email address registered with Sentry, but I'm not a member of any organizations.

I want to use that email with a new organization but get the error, "An account is already registered with that email address".

You will need to log in (https://sentry.io/auth/login/) instead of signing up with a new org. User accounts and org accounts are separate.

If you need to reset your password you can do so from here: https://sentry.io/account/recover/

Since there is a user profile already for that email, once you log in it will prompt you to create an org if there are none attached to the account.

If you hit this message while verifying your email at signup (before your account was created), it means another account was registered with that email between when you submitted the signup form and when you clicked the verification link. Try logging in — if you don't recognise the account, reset your password.
