I am trying to add 2FA using an authenticator app, but get the error "Error adding Authenticator: App authenticator" when completing the setup.

This error usually happens when the clocks on your devices are not synced correctly.

To resolve the issue, confirm if the clocks on both devices are correct (automatically set, same timezone...) and try again.
