Alert did not trigger when an event was received x amount of times, why?

Issue

I have set up an alert with the WHEN condition:

Number of events in an issue is more than X in Y amount of time

I did receive X events within this time, but the alert never worked.

  • All SaaS Customers and Self-Hosted Users

  • Alerts

Resolution

This condition expects >X (greater than) events in an issue within a set amount of time, not >=X (greater or equal) events. Therefore, you will need to decrease this number. It is possible to set this number to 0 too.
