Issue
How do we handle cases where a user writes in asking us to add/swap a domain, but Google SSO is not configured on their Auth page with Sentry?
Applies To
Sentry orgs who use Google SSO Social auth, but not have Google SSO configured in Sentry.
Resolution
Support can add additional domains. However, the initial SSO connection must first be configured by the user. If you visit the org’s Auth page and see that no SSO provider is set up, it means the initial configuration has not yet been completed.
This is how the Auth page would look without the setup:
Before Support can add any additional domains, users will need to select an SSO provider and complete the SSO setup by clicking on Configure. You can find more details in our SSO documentation.
Once the initial domain has been successfully configured, and they are ready to add more domains, as covered here: How to add an additional Google SSO domain to my organisation? ask the user to Provide proof of ownership by including:
last 4 digits of payment card on file & the card expiry date,
ora copy of a recent invoice from the organization
After this verification, we can add additional domains for the org.
