Internal Guide: Upgrading the quota of sponsored plans.

Issue

I'm on a sponsored plan and need more events.
The Subscription page says, "Contact us at [email protected] to make changes to your subscription."

Applies To

  • Organizations currently on sponsored plans

  • Team, Business, or general sponsored plan types

Symptoms

  • I'm on a sponsored plan and need more events, how can I increase my quota?

Resolution

Check _admin for their plan type.

Solution 1:
If the org is on a am2_sponsored — Sponsored plan, we can upgrade them to the latest sponsored plans (Team for open-source and Business for non-profits) which has more quota.

They don't need to apply through the form again, we can just make this change for them.

Steps:
_admin > customer action > convert to sponsored > select plan > add ticket link (same flow as moving any org to sponsored)

Solution 2:
If they are on the latest version of the sponsored plans, they will need to subscribe to a paid plan if they need more events.

Steps to upgrade to the latest sponsored plan:
in _admin > Customer Actions > Convert to Sponsored > select Sponsorship Type > add ticket # > add any notes that are relevant > and Confirm.

Note: You may need to cancel Cancel their Subscription first to upgrade.
