I received an "Unable to save alert: Could not retrieve Slack channel information." error when trying to configure or edit an alert in Sentry.

Firstly, confirm if the channel ID and the channel name in the alert configuration match.
Next, check your Slack workspace to confirm whether the Sentry App has been removed or disabled.
When the Slack App for Sentry becomes deactivated, revoked, or removed within Slack (either deliberately or by mistake), Sentry no longer has valid permissions to send messages or retrieve channel information.
As a result, any attempts to configure or save an alert to Slack fail because Sentry cannot confirm which channel to send those alerts to.
