Issue
I can see that my alert rule in Sentry was triggered, but I didn't receive a notification in Slack. Notifications may have worked before and stopped, or they may not have worked at all. How do I troubleshoot this?

Resolution
Here are some things that you can check:
Double-check that the Slack channel ID is correct in your Alert rule. Check if your Alert rule is still using the retired legacy Slack plugin action. If so, remove the legacy action and replace it with a new Slack notification action tied to the current Slack integration. More info on legacy Alert rules can be found here: https://www.sentry.help/en/articles/15007504-monitors-alerts-guide-and-faq
Make sure that the Sentry app is invited in the channel by sending a
@sentrymessage in the channelMake sure that your Slack identity is connected to Sentry by going to your User Settings > Identities here. If it is not, you can send a
/sentry linkmessage in SlackGo to your User Settings > Notifications > Issue Alerts here and make sure that Slack is one of the selected Delivery Methods
If the alert should notify a team, go to your Organization's Settings > Teams > Select a team > Notifications. If the team has not been linked, send a
/sentry link teammessage in the team's corresponding Slack channelAs a last resort, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Slack integration
Add another action to the alert to confirm the alert is triggering correctly.
