How do I enable or disable Seer for a specific project?

Updated over a month ago

Issue

I don't see a single on/off switch to enable or disable Seer for a project. How do I control whether Seer runs on a specific project?

Applies To

  • All customers using Seer

Resolution

There is no single on/off toggle for Seer at the project level. Instead, there are two controls in Project Settings > Seer:

  • Scan Issues β€” Controls whether Seer automatically scans new and ongoing issues in the project.

  • Auto-Trigger Fixes β€” Controls whether Seer automatically runs root cause analysis and proposes fixes for actionable issues.

When an organization first enables Seer, both settings default to on for all projects.

To disable Seer for a specific project, turn both of these settings off.

To manage these settings across multiple projects at once:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Seer > Projects

  1. Select the projects you want to update

  1. Use the Set Issue Scans to and Set Issue Fixes to dropdowns to change settings in bulk

Clicking the "Find Root Cause" button manually on an issue does not permanently enable Seer for that project.
