Issue
Our Seer billing has been growing out of control and now makes up a big percentage of our total bill. How can I control which repositories contribute to my Seer active contributor count?
Applies To
All SaaS Customers with the Seer add-on (Team, Business, Enterprise)
Resolution
To control your active contributor count, you can disable Seer for specific repositories.
Go to Settings > Seer > Code Review
Turn off the "Code Review" toggle for repositories where you don’t need Seer reviews.
Keep it enabled only for repositories you want Seer to review.
Changes save automatically. Limiting code reviews to specific repositories is an effective way to control your overall active contributor count.
These toggles control repositories rather than individual contributors. They don’t set a contributor cap or allowlist. Contributors may still qualify through other repositories with Seer enabled, including those using autofix automation.
To review your current active contributor count and check when each contributor was added, open Settings > Subscription and select Seer in the usage overview.
