We are currently on the Team plan and would like to request a Business trial.

Support can extend the Business trial for the organization. However, please note how Business trials work for organizations on the Team plan: if an organization starts a Business trial while on the Team plan, it will continue to use its current Team plan quota. This means it won’t receive unlimited events for free during the trial, but it will have access to Business plan features for the duration of the trial.
